On March 22, the 4th Sitting of the Trilateral Parliamentary Assembly of Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine will be held in Kyiv.
The participants of the Assembly are to discuss the following issues: humanitarian aspect of European integration: past experience and present needs; the factor of history in European identity; cultural inheritance; historical dimension of the relations: national minorities as a factor of European integrity.
Representatives of the executive power of Ukraine and researchers will take part in the work of the Assembly.
After the sitting, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Irena Degutienė, Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas, and Bogdan Borusewicz, Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, will meet mass media.
